Hi, My name is Ellaine Rwemigabo.
I posses two architectural qualifications, Masters of Arts in Architecture from University of Liverpool and Bachelor of Science (Hons) in Architecture from University of the West of England, Bristol.

My website showcases my projects with a focus on the main architectural drawings, renderings, conceptual designs and modelling done over my time at school. It also includes my love for photography displaying architecture in different cities, fashion, a few portraits and paintings.
“A doctor can bury his
mistakes but an architect
can only advise his
clients to plant vines.” –
Frank Lloyd Wright
The architectural portfolio consists of a variety of school projects. Over the course of my four years, I learned that understanding the history, culture and the phenomena of the place should be the main priority to consider before the final approach. Buildings should not be formed by a single aesthetic reason but must be erected by the purpose of function and how it affects the city. My weakness through this journey was forgetting these initial aspects and focusing on typologies. However, ”A doctor can bury his mistakes but an architect can only advise his client to plant vines.” I believe I managed to make the best out of this approach.
Four years as an architecture student has been a challenging and rewarding in equal measure and much like every design student hooked on adrenaline, I eagerly anticipate the serendipity to design in the real world.
